What is this? A coin? Anyone have a clue? Found in a Bayonne, NJ Park...deep (10")

It's the size of a large cent but not as thick and I'm baffled...weighs 3.7grams

My guess is a one real coin from Mexico City.
The standard weight would be 3.43 grams, but with some crud on the coin it could easily weight 3.7 grams.
