I gotta agree with Nick Mud, the stock coil probably connects to that unit and that unit connects to the detector, unclip the probe and you've got a pinpointer that works through the MXT.(bet that costs a few bucks!)

That is a probe made by Sunray. Not cheap.Several people on this forum have them.I don't.Some only work on certain detectors.Someone will tell you shortly,I'm sure.

This is a SunRay pinpointer. I use one on my DFX, it is a very helpful device that cuts time out of locating your finds. It uses the same circuity from the detector. when you dig something and have trouble finding the object in the dirt pile, or in a hole, you flip the switch to probe and the standard coil is now disabled and the white tube now becomes the coil. As you sweep the white tube over the dirt, it is now the detector coil, once you have located where the item is, you hold the pinpoint trigger on the DFX/MXT and the machine will sound when you touch the item. They cost around $175-$200.

Hope this helps

They also make them for Minelab and Garrett and perhaps more by now. I have one on my 2500 and it is handy. Monty

Do you think whites will give me one for $49.95 with the new coil deal they have now? If not what coil should I get?

Keep @ it and HH!!

If you can get one for $49.95, jump on it like a duck on a junebug. I paid around $180 for my SunRay S1 probe for my Minelab Sovereign GT.

It's not a White's product. Sunray DX-1 is an aftermarket add-on for the MXT.

If you call Sunray tell them they need to build one for the new Fisher F-75 A.S.A.P.!

Sun Ray inline probe, Don't get much better than that
Just don't forget that switch that cahanges it from Pin-Pointer/
To Detector
Pin-point your target, get all excited!!
And forget to switch it back to Detector mode
Guess that,s what they call

""" SILENT SEARCH MODE """
