if it's solid gold it's probably worth hundreds of dollars. if it's gold-plated or annodized, probably worth 25 cents.

Yep... 26 cents. I've got a plating machine, and used to sell gold plated dimes for use as golf ball markers. 5 plated dimes for a buck. But for the time it
takes to brush plate all those dimes, your not really making any money. I did some quarters just to see what they look like. They look just like yours.
