no, it looks like opal glass from the pic but it is easy to have it looked at in any jewelry store.

Fire opal has fire, ordinary opal doesn't. It looks like opal, I would suggest to get it tested.

Opal will fluoresce under a black light. Not sure about glass.

Easy test. Opal is extremely soft. A nail or knife blade will scratch it easily. If it is glass, not so much. No need to use much pressure.

Also natural opan contains a lot of water. Look at it under a magnifying lens to look for microscopic cracks from it expanding and contracting due to the water content.
