Found in the middle of woods - middle of nowhere?

Anybody good at researching people?

Don't think it is too old, 50's?

Neat find.

We can assume it was riveted to something metal, im just trying to think what would you put a tag on with all of your information like that on?

I have one that's very similar. It's from a dog collar most likely. You can see where it was once riveted to the leather. Only difference with mine is that it also has the name of the dog along with the owners name & address.

Just no idea why this was in middle of woods - I did find a 1723ish king george penny about 50 feet from this find?

most Dog I.d's have the dogs name included.
most people name their pets with names other then
"hey", "dog", "cat", "fish", etc. for some reason.

could be Trap tag .
I have 1 or 2 similar here somewhere
