Hey BJ , That looks like a great item to put on the "what is it ?" section . It may get more views , and a possible ID .

BJ - To me it looks like one of those shoe scrapers that you used to see next to an entry door back in the old days. The bladed part is pushed in to the ground leaving the top part out to scrape the mud/snow from your boots or shoes. Just a guess.

I am thinking 10" to 12" over all and we thought that it had a wood handle on it.....at one time...

That first item looks like one of those belt buckle knives that came out a few years ago. The second is a cast iron pancake cooker or that's what my wife calls hers. Monty

Looks like a push-dagger. Yes, with wooden handle. Designed for sticking into people.

Y'all are all wrong.

That's one of them there dental floss pick-like thingies -- albeit a much earlier "prototype" version...

MY vote:

1. Ink Roller w/o wood handle :hello2:
2. Tortilla Pan :headbang:

Yep, you are all correct, it is a push dagger, handle missing the wood, and a pancake griddle.

Different parts of the country seems to have different names and uses for the skillet. In this area they are called "hoecake skillets". (fried cornbread)
