Hey guys!
Yesterday I found these two things in he same hole. They were around six inches in the dirt, and judging from the look of them, I place them at around 60+ years old. The larger of the two pieces has two parts, an outer, rectangular box, and an inner serrated piece, connected to the thing coming out the top. The other piece fits in it perfectly, yet I still don't have any idea as to what it could be.
If you have any questions about dimensions, details, etc, just ask and I will try to post them ASAP. The same goes with extra pictures.

It's hard to tell from the photos, but it looks like part of a belt buckle for a web belt.
