What kind of buckle is this?

This has to be at least the 5th little buckle that I’ve found in the area that I’ve been hunting. This one has a curvature that the others don’t have. Wondering if it’s a belt buckle, horse tack, or something else. It’s not magnetic. Maybe nothing too special but I’m curious. Any help is appreciated!

That would be my guess, horse tack. They come in all shapes and sizes

Probably horse related. Gotta remember, buckle makers (blacksmith or foundry) would sell multi-purpose. A small harness buckle could also be used on a satchel, a belt, nearly any leather good item.
