Colored glass and silver plated "rose" beads...

They did make these "rose" beads in sterling at one point it may seem.

"vintage".

If the necklace is heavy the beads are sterling. If it feels light the roses are plated pot metal. Plated 1970's Sterling 1950's maybe 40's

I am with Red They look like silver and I was originally going to say coral but forgot to write it. I Agree! Cheers

I don't think coral would have the banded light and darker colors like these have. Red coral has a deeper solid red color from what I've seen of them. I'm with what ARRC has identified it as, being glass beads. I also believe it could have been made as late as the 1980s

It looks like glass beads to me but I'm no expert. For the silver beads look at them through magnification and see if there are areas where you can see sub-metal like copper color or such.
