i would say the figure looks to be of a hindu or tibetian religious type (temple guardian type look)

It is definitely a neat looking piece but with my luck it would probably just translate into something like "smoking in designated areas only". Good luck getting it figured out. :thumbsup:

The language is Tibetan it is a Tibetan prayer flag. That is the Tibetan deity "Mahakala".

so tibetian prayer flag -- humm nice finding the match. -- thought it was either tibet or india but not sure which -they do border one another and have some historical and religious cultural over lap
