An annoyingly keen recollection of my distant, misspent youth.

When the frozen ground releases the last newspaper stuck tight, in my front yard.

smelled it yesterday,a touch of green in the air

In my area the blue birds never left, so winter wasn't to bad. We have had robins in the area about a week ago, which is real good sign, most always have one more snowfall after the robins come back. Yesterday we had red wing black birds which is always the best sign.

when the seaguls are squaking flying around in big flocks pooping on every thing, oh ya come on spring

The Robins are back, just last week. Monty

Yes, the Robins are back! I saw two of them sparring on the side of the road the other day, and it was only 16 degrees out.

And the dog poop in my yard is no longer frozen. Instead of twisting an ankle now, I get to spend time digging it out of my sneaker treads before going inside. OH JOY!

Bikini babes.

When this 18 foot snow pile melts to the ground.

Wow, what a pile. I remember doing donuts in parking lots trying to avoid such piles.

Have you ever went to a frozen lake and got your car going 110 miles an hour and done donuts. Let me tell you it's fun.

Outdoor recess time for the little rapscallions in the schoolhouse outback. At least I keep up on good cuss words and lingo.

Old farmer rule of thumb...when the apple trees blossom...then it's safe to plant....which means the ground is now diggable.
