What stone / formation is this?

Just found a few pieces in my backyard, Don't know where it came from. Haven't seen it in my life, especially anywhere close to my area.

Looks like a lump of coal, give it a streak test and describe it.

It is hard to say from a picture but it does look like galena. I have chunks all over the yard.

Hard to tell from the light in which the photo was taken but If it is heavy in weight I’d say galena (lead ore) if light I’d say most likely coal.
