Thinking outside the box here. Looks like a hyphen between the L and A (And the A is out of alignment with SOLL) which would make it SOLL A WIEN or Soll To Vienna, which are two Austrian cities.

My Opa and Oma in Holland had lots of old coins from all over Europe. But my Oma never ventured out of Holland and my Opa only did as slave labor during WWII.

According to both of them some of the coins were ground finds as kids, some in old furniture, etc.

Heck as a kid I lost some Dutch coins from the 1600s in Idaho of all places. So someone found or will find a pocket spill of old Dutch coins in Mountain Home AFB, Idaho.

Kids seeding the land for metal detectorists since the dawn of time.

Could be Wien (Vienna) Austria and Solla Germany (Which is close to the Austrian border. Maybe some kind of train token, don't know where all the trains ran in the old days or how many lines there were.
