what type of material

found this scraper and have always wondered what it is made from,never found even a flake of it in years,it feels waxy to the touch.anybody ever seen this flint before thanks ahead of time

Do the granular details look spherical/round? It kind of resembles the oolitic chert that I find a lot of around here but I can't tell for sure from the pic.
