Wow, I don't remember.....I started metal detecting in 1971.....over 41 years ago, and with over 200,000 coins found.....Back then over 90% of all the dimes, quarters, half dollars, and Dollars I found were SILVER......"The Good Old Days".......but most likely a common silver Roosevelt dime.

Either a 1950 Roosevelt dime or a '44 wartime nickel. Can't remember which came first.
