Merc dime. I was a 13 year old kid and at that moment, I had all the treasure in the world in my hand.8-)

Very first time I went out I found an 1889 Morgan Silver dollar, four years ago, haven't found anything half as cool as that since, lol. I carry it around with me pretty much every day :)

Completely mangled 1944 mercury dime ,I eyeballed in a driveway washout as a kid.That was 37 yrs ago,and I'm still hooked!

Back on the eaely 70's mom doing laundry at laundromat, I always checked coin changer if someone left something. Guess what? they did, a standing liberty! From than on the fascination began. ; )

1912 half dollar in really bad shape with a dent in it, then digging with a clam shell in the same place "no detector yet" I found a 1835 half dime VF/EF I was maybe 14 years old, first metal detecting find was a 45 merc at a 1790's home..lol

my first thing that was silver was a silver braclet, found it on the sidewalk and i didn't see anyone near where i found it, so, that was a nice find, lol
