What would YOU do?

I recently advised a relative to start CRHing. After only 10 boxes they have about 500 silvers (about 50 90s and 450 40s) and the boxes don’t seem to be slowing down. Would you go on “vacation” and start hitting up their bank(s)?

This just happened, and I was teasing him that I was coming to visit and would clean out the vault! I’m not really going to go, but I had a lot of fun messing with him! I think he's convinced that I am booking a flight...

No, I am not giving his geographic area, not even any clues.

It would not be feasible in my opinion to travel someplace far away in an effort to clean out the silver. If you drove all the way out there (wherever there is) it might be possible, but not to fly. Somehow you would have to dump all the rejects.

Their silver will at some point taper off. Apparently they are in an area without CRHers.

I would have them join my network. Offer to buy the silver they find exclusively. No hassles with coin shows, dealers, bulk bullion traders, craigslist, etc. Safer for them as they don't have to accumulate large quantities to sell to the big traders, and they don't have to solicit the sale via craigslist. No fees for them via eBay, etc. They send them to you, you send cash. For the surety and security that you provide, you enjoy the benefit of buying below current market.

Right now, I have such a network set up tapping into NEPA, Houston, Long Island, and soon upstate NY.

First of all who would be crazy enough to want to give up their finds for "below market" DUH! They are tripping over each other out there to buy my silver.

First of all who would be crazy enough to want to give up their finds for "below market" DUH! They are tripping over each other out there to buy my silver.

One of my best producers is my 12 year old niece. The tellers can't refuse her. I think the tellers are actively searching for her only to see her smile in her quest for her collection. She loves to shop for videogames, clothes, music, etc. I don't even come close to 10x face for her. My father who is in another region sends me packages every week. I gift him money via PayPal. I've tried giving him 10x face just to help out, but he's approaching 70 and the tellers love the "sweet, old man". My sister, who is an accountant, I pay 15x face. Etc.

Trust me, it works. They don't have to pay fees on eBay, meet strangers on Craigslist, tote coins to coin show/shops, or package large amounts to APMEX. They get a weekly payment, and I get "more for the pile".

Wow I would feel guilty paying my nieces and nephews less than 20x at 35$/oz. The scammers on craig's list pay 20x. I offer 90% of spot by weight on cl here and people are discouraged by that.

No need to feel guilty. You just have to think outside of the box. Think what your niece and nephew might want. A new videogame, clothes, shoes, etc.? Show them a way that they can earn what they want by obtaining what you want. No harm to anyone. Everyone wins. You would be surprised how much silver they can find when they put the effort in. Tellers would practically fall over themselves to help out a sweet girl/boy.

I'm not judging. I'm just saying I'd feel bad. Not to mention they have to get a parent to cart them around.

I agree with the others...10x for family members, especially a little girl?

I'm worried this could end bad for you. The little girl is going to grow up, and could realize that she sold her silver for a song...and be angry at you forever. Kids especially remember things after they grow up...do you remember someone from your childhood that was mean or unfair to you?

Our local shop was paying 22x face when silver was dipping down to $34 an ounce. At a local flea market, silver is still selling for 32x to 35x face...and selling fast at that.

Share some of that wealth. It will end up well for you in the long run.

Well i wouldnt tell someone how to get silver if i was willing to go to his area tho i do search for silver anywhere and everywhere i go much to the dismay of my wife kids and friends.

So he called me last night to rub it in again... He's up to 15 boxes from this bank and now at about 700 silvers from those boxes! Talk about an extreme case of beginners luck!

In 5 boxes last night, he found what it usually takes me almost 3/4 of a month (~60 boxes) to find!

You have got to be kidding.. I've never heard those results from boxes. I've heard of some dream boxes but that is insane.

So as hot as his boxes are, from May 24th to June 20th he only did 5 more boxes? The results, as you relay them to us, are about 50 keepers per box, so my question is why isn't he doing more volume? Why would you let another hunter that may order boxes from your district/area get the boxes you know to be hot?

He may be pulling your leg a bit about the whole thing.

He did do some other boxes from different banks, but those were only about 1-2 coins per box with a bunch of skunk mixed in. He also missed a week because the teller that orders was out.

I have absolutely no doubts. There is no leg pulling going on here. He also doesn't want to get cut off so doesn't want to do a crazy number of boxes. He did try to go to another branch of the same bank nearby but said that the results were smelly skunk.

I guess if for some reason he wanted to he could. I just don't think he could get his daughter (his helper) to pull it off so well. As I was talking to him I could hear his daughter in the background shouting "I found more". He's also just not the joking/leg pulling type.

Honestly, when he first started I expected him to find maybe 2-3 in a box and say forget this. The fact that he's still doing it is proof enough for me that he's not yanking anything...
