🔎 UNIDENTIFIED What year Chevy is this from?

Found this at an old homesite. Brass, three inches long, .055 thick. D L Auld Co., has a solder mark on the back.

Wondering what year it is, and where was it placed on the vehicle.

 

[Doubter in MD]

1914-1933 or 1942-1964.

Because of the "frame" around the emblem I'm leaning toward 1914-1933.
