I gotta be straight on this... seen the effects of hurricanes (Charley, among others)... no amount of rings or cobs or other beach swept treasure could justify property loss and heartbreak a storm can bring. If a blow comes, and you find a few goodies, and you and your loved ones, and your community are not adversely affected, then cool, otherwise, be prepared for nothing good... hashtag Hurricanes Suck.

Valid point. What I meant is more in the line of coming close to the beach but staying off shore. Just enough monster waves to really stir up the bottom and strip the beaches real good would be nice.
