What's hot? What's not?

Also, asian antiques are very hot.

Actually, pretty much anything with an asian motif seems to be selling,

I wish the non-fake Cinnabar vase I have sitting on ebay would sell... :(

Vinyl records have been hot for a while. The ones that ALWAYS have value are classic rock albums from the major acts (Beatles, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, Stones, Doors, Hendrix, Grateful Dead, Rush, Dylan, Neil Young, and most of the heavy metal bands).

Retro video games have been hot for a while. Nintendo stuff is the hottest and also the easiest to find. Avoid Atari and pretty much any sports games.

Coins are hot but you have to be careful. Avoid anything mass produced (proof sets, mint sets, pretty much any sets or pre-packaged stuff).

Listed a TI-89 Platinum calculator for $69. Sold within 5 minutes. Listed a TI-84+ for $55 and it sold within 2 minutes. I can always count on Texas Instruments!

I think I have been passing those up for years! Thanks for heads up.

Vintage fishing lures are a good bet. The older the better but ones from pre 80 also doing good. Good luck.

Always see them but I can never seem to get a good deal on old lures, seems like everyone thinks they are valuable. Like old sewing machines, everyone thinks they are valuable and will sell like hotcakes, but my experience has been the opposite and I will almost not waste booth space if I got one free. Had a really old machine, 1902 I think, working in great shape, gold foil letters, had to beg someone to buy it after about a year of price reductions.

Mid-century modern anything is hot right now and doesn't look to be going anywhere anytime soon or at least until us Boomers die out and the gen-xers take over.
