How about "Dēus"?

Without the macron, "deus" (small "d") in French means "two", so "Deus II" would mean "Two two".

Deus (upper case) in Latin means "God" or "diety". Deus II would mean "God II".

With the macron, "Dēus" is still "Dēus" (though I'm not clear on the correct pronunciation).
I've heard:
Day-use (soft "s")
Day-us
Dee-use
Dee-us

IDK if calling the thing "Dēus" was clever or intentionally obscure.
