What's that one thing or several things you can't wait to find? That you can't wait to get your hands on!

Also what are some of the things you have crossed off your list?

Mine is a gold watch, I would love one, but not going to buy it new! So I hope to find one some day. One that I hoped to find and did was a gold coin, there was 2 mounted on earring backs in a jewelry box.

Anyways this is ment to be a fun thread~ enjoy!

Bottle full of gold from Vt. streams, and a 200 lb Fla. Tarpon on a fly rod.

i want to find a Massachusetts tree coin, a gold coin, a ring with over a 1 carat emerald, ruby, or sapphire, and all the key date coins
crossed off list a Rolex, a 1carat or larger diamond (returned) and to much other stuff to mention haha

I want to find a winning mega millions lotto ticket. :occasion14:

A CONQUISTADOR HELMET.

Did you post the coin find? What kind was it?

I would LOVE to find and 1880 $4 Stella Gold coin. and ANY Gold Silver Bars / Coins here in Florida are over 300 years old.. Not asking for much huh... lol

No, my husband is OCD and took them off the earring backs. Had to know the dates! But they were $1 gold coins dated 1855 and 1856.

Going to Europe with Etrac and GT armed with 18 x15 sef coil and finding Roman coins, hammys, and all the really cool stuff they find! We get excited just to find silver US coins or modern jewelry! Imagine 2000 year old finds :)

I kind of write out my bucket list after I find things. Because you never know what you will find at a yardsale.

Below are just some of my better finds.

5 Shipwreck coins with papers. All from Florida wrecks (one was from the atocha)
sold the set to the guy that used to authenticate old weapons for Rick on Pawn Stars.

A five pound silver Torah Shield. Did not melt this, sold it to someone who collects Jewdica.

and my wonderful girl friend. We have so much in common. but some people say I am cuter.

Buried treasure, sunken treasure, and a winning powerball ticket.

That you can't wait to get your hands on!

Jennifer Aniston, although I admit it'll be tough to find her at a yard sale.

Would love to find any colonial era item.Tennessee is a relatively young state so its hard to find anything way old.

Bucket list?

I show up at an estate sale, garage sale, or auction, and someone tells me about some scrap aluminum they have in the barn, and they just want it gone. That scrap happens to be the front nose, 'greenhouse' and cockpit to a real B-17. As I am carefully pulling out the front end, I find the tail end, and 4 original Pratt & Whitney engines, plus all the 50 cals, and the landing gear.

By that time, the neighbor tells me that there is part of an airplane (fuselage), boxes of parts, and two wings in the other barn, and says that I should have those too.

And then when I start telling everyone on the garage sale forum on T-net about my original, combat flown B-17, someone posts that they have the four props to this old war bird, and they helped rebuild the Memphis Belle, and would like to help me rebuild this one back to flying condition, all for free.

And yet another poster says they'll donate the first 1,000 gallons of high octane fuel so we can buzz around town for a short while. Those engines are thirsty, so 1,000 gallons wouldn't last long.

Bucket List? I want to be on the Jerry Springer show for cheating with Jessica Alba and I want the Hippy era to return.
