Found today with no key IMG_7726.webp i used the toasted 1/2 reale for size reference.

Very nice old padlock for sure! You can tell that a skeleton key had been used to unlock it so you know it's old. You're also lucky that it has the nice letters on it that should help you to further identify it and it's actual age as well. Are there any other markings on it anywhere?

You're most welcome and Congrats on a great find!!! :icon_thumright: If I found an awesome lock like that one I would take it to a locksmith for inspection and maintenance and if the internal parts still worked, I would take him an old skeleton key that matched closest in looks to that lock and have him re-tooth it to fit that one! Then I could secure another one of my chests with it. :skullflag:

Almost all Wilson Bohannan locks will have info on the shackle. It's also usually very small, but often has the patent date.
