Whats the best Sand Scoop

New to Metal Detecting. What is the best type of sand scoop to buy. Metal or the PVC ? Long or Short? All input is appreciated.

Are you talking dry sand or wet sand, big difference between the two when it comes to digging. If your digging in the wet sand you want a good scoop, buy a cheap one and you will break it in less than a month.........

Dry and wet sand. Are the PVC ones good scoops for that
