1984 Ceilica Supra, LOVED that car. 2am, straight highway, no traffic, 130 and climbing when I backed down, smokey likes to go fishing those hours.

Nissan 280ZX, I loved that car, had it 4 years before it started having engine problems. Sold it shortly there after, but I would hit it up to 100 at times. Only problem, some insurance companies will not insure you, thank goodness GEICO and I were in good hands.

Hey Judy. I have a 240 sx in my garage right now. Hand picked it from Tennessee with not rust at all. It's a 1993. Going to transplant a Japanese Skyline engine in it (RB 25 Turbo)

Fastest car(as far as just driving)I have been in was my 93 5.0 convertible...140 Fastest I have been is was on my bike at 180(honda cbr) Quickest was my 87 s10 blazer, had a 12:1 compression,383 small block,full race ported dart heads,victor jr intake port matched to the heads,850 carb, 4500 converter,373 gears,on slicks it went 9:70's (without the 250 hit!)

fastest car I ever had was a 2 door 1969 olds cutless supreme with 442 -- only car I ever had that had 160 mph on the speed dial -- I can not recall exactly how fast was the fastest I took it to (was watching the road) but I do know it went over 140 several times from glacing downward while doing it .

it got totalled by a drunk in a pick up truck hitting me in the drivers side rear corner -as I was making a turn -totally wiped out his trucks engine and front end but took out the drivers side rear quarter panel and trunk and bent the frame -- insurance company would not resell it to me for repair .

A LOTUS 11, over 150 mph. I don't have a complete photo but it is in the picture frame. I had replaced tho 995 cc Coventry Climax engine with a 1500 cc BMC, would run beside my wife in our Austin Healey doing over 125, stomp the accelerator and it'd slap my helmet up against the roll bar. I won a number of SCCA races with it..

Chug taught me how to drive in our 1965 chevy impala, 4 door, straight body, easy to work on, we drove him from Colorado to Kentucky, then did it again 3 weeks later, we named him Taz, he had power and we could easily go over the spedometer! Sigh, we miss him, he got totaled, we've had other cars since, but nothing compares to Taz!!!!! Red

not a car but i had a 2003 GSXR 1300 and had it over 200 MPH. did that on a few occasions. young and dumb I guess

Diggin: No, I sold the car a long time ago when we needed the extra money for a growing family.. Today it's worth over 6 figures, due to the small number built (all handmade) and less number brought to the USA. Like an idiot, I sold it for $2500.. LOL You can see some perform on You Tube.

1967 Chevy shortwide pickup
with 3 on the column and a
transplanted 327 from a 67'
Chevy Impala. 103 mph thru the 1/4
128 mph top end. Still have the ticket around
somewhere. Officer let me go after a lengthy lecture,
and muttering I can't believe this piece of ___t runs that fast!!

Ahh, to be young again !!

fastest car I've ever driven. BMW 760 V12 at 190mph or 300 kph.

my everyday VW Golf R, I drive pretty much daily at speeds higher than 140mph.

I'll say speeds between 220kph and 250kph or 140mph to 160mph aren't special in Germany though. Anything above 160mph though is fast.

Good thing is, it's legal overhere.

Well it was a Camaro with a built 350. Drove a couple nice ones both my cousins, one a 1972 Z28 with a 350 and muncie rockcrusher 4 speed and the other an 80 with a 355, it sounded like a train!

I have rode in a few fast rides though, a 69 Camaro with a 383 and 400 trans. that would light up tires at a 20 punch and my friends dads ramsrt10 6 speed.

I got to drive in a Tesla Roadster last weekend and the guy who was driving it reached 110mph on I-35,not bad when you realize that this is an electric car.

I buried the speedo in my '05 Mustang GT at 145 MPH and the RPM was still climbing like the second hand on a watch. I shut down at 5600 RPM because it was getting light in the front end. I know I was well past 150 but I won't claim it. This all took place as I was leaving Parker, AZ. heading to 29 Palms, CA. It was 65 degrees and I could not see another car and had not all morning. The Mustand has a Saleen S/C with 4.10 gears. It rocks.

Would love to give that new BOSS mustang a twirl around the block i hear its a monster... coming to your dealer in 2011 HH

Well, Chevys just going to reinvent the Camaro and Z28 They already Built those ZL1's for The Shelby's competition (though Super Snake has impressive numbers) just a lil rivalry trash talk
