Looks like a lamination problem to me.
But I don't know anything really???

Its not a stupid question. I know little about errors but I looked in my old book. It doesnt quite look like a die break, double struck, or a laminate error. I dont know what it is. Could it be corrosion? It almost looks as if half the coin was dipped into a corrosive liquid that left a mark. But I really dont know.

Now could it be a die break just really worn down, i mean its a 26 and I did find it still in circulation still. I hope to get to the bottom of this thank you for all the help.... thanks
