This is not the place for me to rant about the political climate in California, but, look out! The storm will be arriving in November! TTC

Re: What's wrong?

Hi TerryC, the input/bragging/meetings/finds, etc.... for CA are all on the "kinzli forum". If you are not already on that forum, get on it. To get to the main pages, you have to become a member (to prevent spam or something). But it's easy: just pick a name and a password.

As far as the upcoming "storms", the only "storms" I'm looking forward to, is the ones that spin up in Alaska in the fall (in-lieu of each upcoming winter season), that spin up there as early as Oct. and Nov. Those can spin NW swells, that travel down the coast, and arrive on our beaches as early as late Oct, or Nov, well before the actual winter rainy season starts, in some cases. When those come, we start watching our NW facing beaches for erosion :headbang:

Tom, I lived in NC from 1991 to 2000. The Atlantic beach sand would go "out" for the winter. The height difference was as much as 14/15 feet. You could then hunt between old pier pilings for coins from the '30s and '40s. That is if the iron thrash didn't drive you NUTS! TTC

Re: What's wrong?

Well, Jerry Brown held his investiture and hot dog fest yesterday and today is making noises that sound like tax increases...

What a winner...

He gets brown stuff on everything he fingers.

Oh! That's not a political statement but simply fact. :icon_scratch:
