Whats your best surface find?

Back in the late `1970's I was headed into a bank to make a car payment when I spied a tightly multi-folded bill in the gutter by the curb. Thinking it was probably just a dollar bill, I picked it up an pocketed it. Later, when I unfolded it, it turned out to be a $100.00 bill. At the time, I was scraping the bottom of the barrel and a hundred bucks seemed like a million!

A huge abalone shell, it was upside down so a bit of a surprise to flip it over in the middle of the woods. Not really old or valuable though... well I guess it could be old?

Maybe not the best, but one time I found several hundred dollars in twenties scattered along the side of an interstate off ramp. All counterfeit. During the course of the investigation found a few thousand more thrown out along roadways in that part of the country. By the way, the Secret Service is the agency that deals with counterfeit money in case you ever come up with some.

Four $50 bills folded together.
