Re: What's your oldest CRH find?

I just got another 1910 this past weekend - but a V-Nickel this time, not a penny. It was also on the end of the roll, which was exciting.

Re: What's your oldest CRH find?

Update** not exactally the oldest find, but got a ND buffalo nickel my last box of nickels, finally got around to use NicA-Date on it, turns out to be from 1913!(philly though), the first year the buffalo nickel was made!

sorry for the bad scan, best quality I could get it, but I can clearly see 1913 with my eye holding the coin. :hello2:

Re: What's your oldest CRH find?

I don't have an individual pic but the oldest is a 1855'B' France 10 Centimes Coin. Here is a group shot of some 1800's coins that came out of one box.

Re: What's your oldest CRH find?

I finally got around to reading this thread and there are some amazing finds. My oldest finds are as follows:

Cents: 1920 Wheat - found just a couple of weeks ago

Nic's: 1918 partial date buffalo - found just over a month ago when I had a nice score of nic's (but I've got some nd's I'm going to nic-a-date)

Dimes: 1947 Rosie - found just last weekend (I haven't searched dimes much)

Quarters: 1961D - from just a few cwr's I searched over a year ago (I've rarely searched quarters)

Halves: 1935 Walker - found just Fri. with my best score ever :icon_thumright: (nice coin probably grades F+)

Dollars: 1878 & 1878S Morgans - scored about 4 months ago with 2 other Morgans (1899 :icon_thumright: & a 1901O)

keep on searchin' and HH
