On my own this weekend, the only choice I have to cycle to is a Wheat Stubble Field with grass & weeds but it has produced to odd gem from time to time. 4 Hours & 15mins.
I knew it was going to be 1 find or nothing & my last weeks effort on here with the Medieval Horse Pendant & 2 good buttons was a good day for this land.
Therefore I'm happy with my lot today:

17th C Button
18th C decor Button
Early 19th C Militia Button :)
Medieval Buckle
Top part of Roman Fibula
Blank Silver Sixpence
Nice Jetton
2 Scrappies
1670 Halfpenny Token - Cooper making a cask :icon_thumright: (type I need)

I like these thin brass tokens but they are hard to find in this condition due to chemicals on the fields. So any I can identify, I'm pleased with because they are the only find that you can pin down a date (1670), owner (William Smith) & Villiage

As above, so do I. Not had a Coopers one before.

Sadly I never get 18th C shoe buckles whole from ploughed land. Too big & delicate.

Thats a nice token Are they common like the 19th century ones

No, very small numbers under issuers like shop keeper/pub owner etc. It was illegal but the Govt turned a blind eye for awhile & then put a stop to it.
