when pitbulls attack

I am still wondering why neither of these dogs were on a leash This whole thing would have been avoided, especially in a public area.

I hope those of you who post about your lovable, gentle, harmless pitbulls are never in that postion where you have to explain to another dog's owner or a parent how your dog "had never attacked anything before now".

Owners are very confused and I hurt.

My dogs were always on a leash or long chain in a public park.

"Pets on leash" doesn't mean if you think your pet has been nice so far it doesn't apply.
