Well guys I went back to my spot and this is what I got. I found a rare Ziegler Saloon token from New Orleans, it’s actually my second one I’ve ever found. This was the info the Token Catalog sent me. IMG_2557.webp

“(New Orleans, Louisiana), Ziegler Saloon, 106 – 114 Royal St., E.W. Peters, Prop. // 10. Copper nickel, 27mm, vf detail with some corrosion on both sides, Crawford & Farber 6293Z/3-10a, R-10.
The catalog states that all the known Z/3-10 examples have a V counterstamp on the obverse – this one does not. The Ziegler Saloon operated at 8-12 Royal Street from 1875 – 1895 when it became Huff’s Saloon. Street numbers were changed in New Orleans in 1894 so this token was struck in 1894 or 1895. A rare New Orleans saloon token.”

I have found the 10 Cent Ziegler Saloon token in a 1800’s Church lawn, now I found a 5 Cent Ziegler Saloon token in the grounds of this Jesuit Priest’s land. Lol IMG_2553.webpIMG_2552.webpIMG_2556.webp

Also found so other cool odds and ends. If you know anything I don’t please let me know.

I’m registering the on tokencatalog.com. They said they’re rare but don’t put values on them. Where would you find out something like that jimzz?

I get quite a kick out of finding good for 5 and saloon tokens.there were so many produced around Cincinnati Ohio and northern Kentucky that I have dug ,and I don't know which are valuable. Your token is neat and I hope it is a valuable one.

Nice one Truth! Bet ya did a little happy dance on that one :icon_thumleft: Congrats.

Yeah I sort of messed up my Ziegler Saloon 10 button it was in a taco shape it had great detail on it. I put it in a vice and heated it up and tightened a little at a time. It stretched the metal. Rookie mistake lol

Some great digs Truth...

Great sword hanger... and i am pretty sure I know what the other items are... just not awake yet.

Long week.

Well done.

Great finds, Truth...the token is killer, the green relics are awesome and I'm liking the coin ring too...I got one for my birthdate, 1964 (last yr for 90% silver lol)...thx for sharing, Ddf.
