Took these this past weekend. One of the new sections we explored was like a sheet of limestone. No mud, rocks, or junk, just slick limestone slab loaded with nodules.
#1-This area is only 3 miles from my house. Don't need the canoe, just wade to the rock bed. This is a little honey hole, found most of our stuff here, most from run-off when it floods. Really low right now. Yep, I'm taking a break and if you look close you can see a piece of my sophisticated equipment (spaghetti strainer!)

#2-This is the new section. We came around a bend and the whole area was solid limestone with nodules everywhere! To shallow right now, so we (I should say he) pulled the canoe till we hit deeper water. Can't see the river bed or nodules very well, but it is neat.

#3-tried to talk the hubby into "noodling" us some dinner. He said don't think so! Had a nice size gar swim up next to the canoe, of course I didn't have the camera ready.

In situ of a scraper. This was right after the limestone section. Also a neat little would be waterfall, dry right now.
