No its not able to do that. I doubt any metal Detector will do what you want. Some of the MineLab PI detectors will get down 3 feet or so.
You can do what the Meteor Hunters do (on that Cable Show on Discovery Channel) and and make up an 18 ft square detector coil and buy a PI detector that will work with it - then dig everything. I suspect you will make a lot of deep holes and find a lot of trash.

Wow, thats pretty deep, most that I have been looking at (In my price range lol) are 8-18"
Which of the PI detectors and heads are the ones that go to 3'?

I did a little looking around and they claimed to have found a Soda can at 5' with the pi penetrator 5500.
Its something I have not seen yet, the blanket style.
I watched a couple video's of their waterproof Gold blanket that was drug behind a jetski in a river, they found two spots, dredged them and found gold.
Its an expensive system but it works, or it seems to work in the video's.
