Whites MXT and Ultimate Lithium

Hi , All still a newbie here. Got my MXT last fall and didn't get to hunt but naybe 2 times before it turned too cold.Didn't find anything. Anyway , I was just wondering if its Ok to use Energizer Ultimate Lithium Batteries in My MXT. Going out this weekend for mY first Hunt of the year and want to put in fresh Batteries. Thanks . .. . .

If it's like my White's XLT, that is it uses AA batts. It will self adjest to any AA batt. you use. If you put in Li batts last season they will probably still be good.

Thanks for the info . The Batteries I have in the MXT are the one that came with it and I think they were down to 7 when I turned it off. i figure fresh lithium batteries should last me a long time. Have a Good one and Long Live the Treasure Hunters !

I have not tried Lithium in White's but they don't work well in other detectors. Tesoro for one does not recommend they're use.
