The gentleman in question preceeded General Tibbett by a few years or so. He more or less paved the way for things to happen. Was an Air Corp pilot, but took off from a US Navy ship to reach his objective.

Not yet. Lots of snow today. Mailman said it was mail was light. They probably didn't sort too much to ger a jump on deliveries. I did get a nickle from muscular dystophy though.
