Who Found Silver on the last day of the year: 12/31/11

I do not mean if you pick up rolls or coins days before and you just check them on the 31st. I mean who hunted on the 31st and found silver?

I tried but nothing.

Had a teller call me and ask if I wanted any 40%ers, ended up getting 25 of them when all was done

Does finding silver while putting your own coins through a coin counter qualify? If so I found a 1962 Roosevelt. I am glad those machines spit out the silver! Also picked up another $250 in dimes to search today. Figured I would start the new year off right!

Not me. Haven't been able to hunt for a bit besides pocket change. Pulled some copper pennies and thats about it.

In 1500.00 of Dimes searched yesterday, I only found 3 Rosies. A 1948-S, 1954-D, and a 1957-D. Kinda slow but I did find a little more for the pile.

Out of 3000 in halfs and 1000 in dimes I found the following.
3 Roosies
1 Mercury

Halfs
2 1964s
1 1965
1 1966
4 1967s
9 1968s
4 1969s
1 2000 s in great shape
1 1998 d in great shape

only one box skunked in halfs and 2 boxes skunked in dimes, not much in dimes yesterday

I bought a '69 Ken from a teller's tray while on a dump run yesterday. Nice to end the year with a piece of silver. The last 3 months have been the least productive since I started almost 3 years ago. Over all skunk boxes have running at 65% to 75%. Geographically I'm not very far from some of our heavy hitters, but silverwise I'm almost on another planet.
