Who gets killed?

Who would it be?

I know there are MANY circumstances we or someone could face that makes this question difficult ant multi-layered, but it seems many of us have a sense about how we might respond most the time.

So - giving the fact that you may reply differently to different situations - do you have an overridding feeling about just one of these?


We might kill 100 angry villagers to save 1 "downed" pilot.
We might kill one terrorist to save the lives of 100 people.

and the discuss part is; The reason i choose that is because NO MATTER what you do.
You are bound to piss some social group off for one reason or another

I used to like butterflies, but if killing 100 of them will save one innocent man, then kill em.

...a little history though...I don't much care what Civies think about War...if the Congress votes for War, then get the hell out of the Military's way...we already operate under LOAC (Law off Armed Conflict)...most expeditious kill to satisfy mission objectives without needlessly endangering lives or property...

...a little comparative shopping for those of you with a concience...
