Use with a hackamore oe headstall and goes over the nose of a horse...fairly severe and makes a quick beleiver out of a poorly trained bullheaded knucklehead...works on pressure points...

Same principle as a War Bridle...

It is called a twitch.
It is actually quite humane when used properly.
It actually pinches the lip and lower portion of the nose (soft area).
It has an anesthetizing affect and the horse becomes calm almost drowsy.
I have had to use them b4 to dress wounds on my horses.
Same affect can be accomplished by pinching the lip with your hand if
you have 2 people.

Same effect as biting an ear, twisting an ear or grabbing some neck skin and twisting...the horse can only concentrate on one area of pain at a time...

I've used a chain twitch many times and a horse will go bug-eyed...try the same thing on a cow or steer and you've bought yourself a shlt-load of a ride... :laughing7:
