This weekend is out for me as well, I own an income tax office and with the tax deadline of april 18th this year the weekend may be busy. The first of May until the middle of may we will be gone to Bermuda, we've already planed to take the detectors along. We will probably get some different coins for the collection and maybe some jewelery too.

Do a google image search of 'iowa soil map'. It will give an idea of how far down to bedrock and what kind of soil and sediment the rivers run through.
