Why do people report on death and destruction?

Hello Fellow T-netters. I am just wondering why so many people like to hear about death and destruction? Can't we post something nice and funny instead of talking about deaths. Makes me depressed....Thats my 2 cents.

Good news doesn't sell newspapers. So, I guess, there is profit in others misfortune.

i see alot of good news on TV in the early evening hours. stories of animals recused, good deeds, people doing Charity etc. there are loads of good news in small local papers

I agree totally,,, I mean anyone can just paste and copy that crap,,,,big deal!!!!!,,,we can all read the news paper c.w.h.,,,, lets hear some good news!!!!

There is some good news bad starting with a plane crash but even with one survivor a 14 yer old girl did, what a miracle!

Then they said not a cute duckie report but a family of skunks crossing the road caught on tape and they all made it safely!

Not much but, a start!
