I found a 1939 nickel ,it has no mint mark so I know its not a doubled mont or a D or an S but in the listing it shows T I or an TII what does this stand forand how do I find it?please help!
All the site I use to look at different coins says is: " Look for the rare variety with the words "MONTICELLO" and "FIVE CENTS" doubled on the reverse."... For all the other info they want to to buy a CD...
You can check the site out at: http://coinfacts.com/nickels/jefferson_nickels/jefferson_nickels.html
Maybe someone else here on the forum can answer the question about the different types..
Hope this helps...
