Hope this goes through - first time posting a photo here and these are from my first and second times MDing, in and around my own backyard!
Biggest question is the cylinder. Looks like it has a cap at one end and feels like it has liquid inside. What is it?
Also curious about the star and the green (copper?) container. Has a very small hinge on one side.
Really thrilled at these early finds and excited to do a lot more searching! Just outside of Richmond, Va.

I know exactly what that star is. I have an intact one somewhere in my antique collection. It is one of two ends of a letter holder and between the end was a coil of wire that you could put a letter in between each coil. If I run across it I will post a picture
