Will a Tracker IV pick up 14kt white gold with diamonds

I am offering to get paid to find this guys lost wedding ring in a field, he lost two weeks ago. I have a bounty hunter Tracker IV. He says it is 14k yellow, and white gold with diamonds. Will my metal detector pick this up?

It'll probably detect it if it's on the surface or nearly so, and you're careful to overlap your sweeps.

Yes, it will detect it. Move the coil slowly and you should be able to pick it up.

Your detector will pick it up if you don't disc out pull tabs and since the ring is just hidden in the weeds, don't bother digging. I've found many lost rings aren't lost where the owner thought they lost it. They either took it off and forgot or lost it somewhere else. So don't feel bad if you don't find it.

Do you (or your significant other) have a similar ring that you can lay in the grass and try different settings and swing speeds on? As others have said it will probably be on the surface, if there at all.
