Beautiful picture thanks again for sharing
Do the salmon have their annual runs there
Very little although we have 5 rivers within 50 miles that have record salmon runs, a few famous.

Some day when I visit a friend in Portland I would love to try fishing for salmon
Would it be difficult to get a license

We have excellent fishing guides, river and ocean. Out of state residents can purchase a 1 day license.

Brother sold off his boat a year back.
It seems that regulation required a fisher to be catch/release only.
If on a charter it was catch/keep.
He quoted $750Can.
all in.
You get the fish cleaned/packaged/even shipped if needed.
He said it didn't pay to have a boat even anymore.

That would be a great time and well worth it especially for a couple people
Plus they would have all the equipment needed
