looking on ebay I saw the wire free headphones adapter. I like the idea of not being tied to my detector because I'm tall sometimes it's a pain, is it worth it? I'd like to buy from a supporting vender too. Thanks Don.

The reason for 2 transmitters is that the device will only pair with 1 device at a time.
Headphones get hot here in Arizona, but these will let you hear the faintest signal. I am hard of hearing and they will blast my ear drums out.
I prefer the single ear headset, because this is snake country.
