When I was a kid, I was subjected to Looney Tunes. After seeing Daffy Duck losing his head, and Wiley Coyote suffer through a lot of personal injuries, I was left with some deep emotional scars. Some of the violent scenes are still hidden in my subconcience, and still surface at times.

I'm older now and believe I'm sort of emotianally stable. I think I can handle this cartoon.

Every day, dozens of times a day, in everything you do, you get to decide whether to be cruel or kind. I get that some people think it's fun to be cruel. Whatever you choose helps to create a community and a world. I live in that world too and may occasionally remind someone of that. I, too, think that the post and replies should stay; it helps to remind us that we have a choice.

I'm guessing that you meant "choice" instead of "chance", but, yes, that's the discussion I was after when I first replied: what is the level of civility we should expect of one another and this site. It's disingenuous to say that it's only an animation when the subject is obvious and the replies center around various ways to delight in the death of 'Obummer' (Cheese). We will all never agree about what is funny, but we should be able to agree on what is unacceptable.

dances for eels - Why have you not chastised the members posting in the thread I provided? While I do question the authenticity of the video shown, it is at least realistic looking while the gif above is far from being realistic. Seems inconsistent to me.
