Went out to a school near my house and searched the tot lot. One of the biggest I have seen to date. Searched the places where kids would hang, like, horizontal ladder, the rings, etc. Also searched the swings. Boy, there were a lot of swings. I only did a quick sweep of most of them as it started to get dark. Anything more than 2.0" I left for another day as it was getting too dark to see anything.

Mostly just found a little clad, 4q 1d, 2n and about 7p. One of the nickels was a Louis and Clark commemorative. 2 or 3 of the quarters were state. Asside from a zipper pull and a NIKE Snap from a jacket or something (had a swoosh on it), the only other thing of real interest was a token and the dime. First, the dime looked really dark, like a penny but smaller. I did a very light cleaning with a scotch brite pad to be able to tell it was a dime. I thought, at first, it might be something foriegn. LIke I said, color of a penny but smaller. Anyways, after getting it clean, it did, in fact, seem to have a copper color coming through. Something about the composting base, under the woodchips, seemed to, maybe, be drawing the copper to the surface of the dime. Anyone have any scientific explaination for why this might happen? I just thought it was interesting. The other interesting object was a token. No words on it, whatsoever. Not even a denomination on it. It was silver in color, about the size of a nickel or quarter value casino or arcade token. It has a Sun symbol on one side and an atomic symbol on the other. Anybody know what it could be?

I will post pictures tomorrow when I get a chance.
