I love finding pottery because is so rare in my spots, I?ve tried glue but I guess I?m still missing too many pieces. Hopefully you have more luck

I've got a couple of pieces that are obviously stamped with an ear of corn which I'll try to find and post here.

Not that it matters a whole lot but I believe those are check stamped ( with a paddle) check out cob marked Peach state same time period.as net impressed and all that other pressed stuff,Lol.
 

I think some of his was stick incised as well.
I am way far from being an expert either but my understanding was for the first made stick incised pottery was to give a grip if it got greasy to keep from breaking a time consuming vessel.
