The weather continues to be nice here in northern Ohio. We still have yet to get a frost. Makes for great hunting of schools and parks but not for the woods or tall grass areas.

A quick morning hunt at this site didn’t produce much other than a some clad and wheat pennies.

Back to a local spot after work. Not much – 1918 Wheat penny and a lipstick thingy. The lipstick thing is interesting since it had a little mirror attached to it (a couple of glass pieces still in it).

Another quick hour hunt at the 1890’s schoolhouse foundation yielded about 6 targets. One was this IH penny. 8)

A week or so ago Dan, Nate and I got together for a 2 year anniversary Iceberg hunt.
If you are not familiar with the “Iceberg” then check this out:

It was a little warm, buggy and I didn’t get any silver but it was still satisfying to walk away with 40 wheat pennies and an interesting token.

I tried to google W.A. Fraser token and got a link to a picture of Woodmen of the World delegates from 1915. Also didn’t turn up much on the “Regular Fellers of America” pin. :icon_scratch:

Also trying to get some new sites. Put in a couple of requests through realtors (not to hopeful there) but did find a new cellar hole.

The growth is really bad in the area and I couldn’t put up with the mosquitoes. It might have some potential. First finds from the site:

I picked up what I thought was the exact same woodmen of the world token on ebay. Nate pointed out that they are different. See for yourself:

Can you find the differences?

That's about it for now. Nate and I did have a decent Columbus Day hunt but that will have to wait for the next post. I should get my water detector back any day now. Just in time for the cold weather. :P Oh well, I think I do better on land anyway.

HH all. :icon_sunny:

Super finds, Bob! The pics of the sites and finds are always beautiful!
Remember the site I went to the day after you were in Bama and found the class ring? Well, I went back there yesterday and found some sort of a trinket/token with the Terminal Tower from Cleveland! :D Did you put that there for me to find? :icon_scratch: ;D :D

GREAT bunch of finds!! Nana

Nice finds can't wait to see the Columbus day post.

Bob I wish I could find that many Wheatie's.....Come to think of it,I probably only have that many ;D The token's are Sweet, remind's me of the old "Highlight's" magazine's back in the day's.....They still have them at the Doctor's/Dentist office, find out what is different between the two ;D Cool find's all around Bob

Nice finds Bob, looks like some of your sites are still producing just fine.

Too bad your water detector is just coming back. That figures, too bad the detector company
couldn't have gotten it fixed a little quicker.

I see your son is still doing a good job of detecting. I think you did a good job of training him,
only now he's beating you. LOL

Take care and HH, Ringfinder
